Hello every budy I'm back. For now any ways. so here's whats been happening since I left: I'm in a german beat rock band called the Teutonics. I bought a 1966 dodge dart station wagon. I have a girl friend named Lucy. I graduated art school and now I'm looking for a job here in the SF area. I lost somebody in my family that was really close to me. I am now in the process of painting a new painting for the first time in years! Oh and I just finished my first podcast for garagepunk.com. It's called "Surfers Pajama Orgy".

Betsy And The Teen Take Over's Value Note CD "Play 5 dance hits" charted on the RIYL. I guess it lists all the records that are played on the radio (maybe just college radio I dunno). For the week of july 19th We're number 395! I was shocked and or surprized. Dream Date also was listed and was charted at 279. geeze I need to start sending out our CDR to more college radio stations so we can beat dream date next week.

Dur, work is pretty fun, yesterday I went shopping for a long 80's poodle metal wig with the boss's credit card. On the walk to the wig store I stopped at this record store and they had a shit load of good stuff. I purchased a Vulcaneers 45 on Radio X (which kicks ass), a Ron Silva and the Monarchs 45 for 99 cents and kick ass "The Satans" Surf 45 that estrus put out 11 years ago. And i got this super fun LP The T Bones No Matter What Shape Your Stomachs in. I love that record because the whole thing sounds like the back ground sound track of all them 60's Annette Beach Party movies. They also had a bunch of Boom Boom of Renton stuff but me no buy.

Finals week was the worst homework week EVER!! I spent 2 long 12 hour days in front of a computer doing one 3d Dynamics project in Maya, and another 8 hours making one 3d model. If it wasn't for school forcing me to use this program theres no way in hell I'd ever open up nurdy ass Maya since I really never had much interest in 3d animation IN THE FIRST PLACE. I used to be really lousy at Maya but now i'm really starting to kick ass at it since i'm being forced to use it non-stop in order to pass these senior year classes and graduate in 9 months. What everz, yay schools out for summer! Now I gets to work full time at L.inc Designs. I think they're going to start having me do a little Maya work for them OH NO!! I miss lounging around all day and playing skate or Die on nIntendo with a bag of doritos and a pizza and a 2 litter of cocacola, while playing schlocky thrift store records and other stupid stuff; Maybe i'll do thAT on saturday. Now i SHALL GO TO SLEEP AND WAKE UP AT 7AM BYE BYE

Hello folks, I just got back from playing the KDVS (college radio station in Davis) restore maximum freedom show and had a real ball! We got a bunch of free pizza and a pitcher of beer and a pitcher of cocacola plus 100 bucks, what more could a horribly out of tune band ask for? Plus we sold like 8 bucks worth of our 2 dollar items, which is not a lot I know but it's a lot for us! Dave thinks it was our worst performance yet, I think it was just his psyche-y song that stank, and everything else was just dandy (but out of tune). Speaking of which we messed up Dave's psyche song cover(by the Human Expression)in the middle of the song Dave's Bass came unplugged! But we decided to play it again from the beginning!!! Oh Man, And We didn't play my favorite Kingsman song That's Cool That's Trash which would have been better than that human expression psyche song any day! Don't get me wrong I dig that Love At Psychedelic Velocity song we do but I dunno if anybody can dance to it. We had a discussion on the way back from the show tonight and I think we're going to drop any and all psychedelic songs from future set lists and just focus on Frat Rock, and making people dance from now on, no matter how much Dave wants to be in a 60's Psyche band! All I ever wanted to be in was a 60's frat rock band and play on top of a mountain of beer kegs. Anyways, I think I had the most fun getting to hang out with my Sacramento pals Alex, Lyndsay, Emily, and also got to hang out with long time KDVS DJ and pal Tim Matranga for a little bit.

I did all the lettering by hand, and traced it wif illustrator to clean it up. I'd just like to say sorry about that post I wrote a couple months ago where I was bashing illustrator. I'm a dork.
In other news the party saturday was fun with the Be Neats and The Traditional Fools and The Power Chords and Saboteurs. We had a shit load of party crashers from the mission though that we had to boot out for doing various naughty things, like this one short creepy mexican guy with bad english who was having fun hitting on and harassing girls. I liked him, he make me laff, but nobody else liked him and he go bye bye. I think we're going to need to start having a door person or something to keep the party crashers out. I went to the liquor store across the street last night. The middle eastern guys that work there LOVE me(!)I'm like their hero, we sell soo much booze for them they should give me a discount. They can't wait till the next party. I invited them. They said "There's a lot of girls at your parties!! I can't wait!". Oh goodie, now if only they'd come. Next week i'm going to start interning part time 3 days a week (and full time during my summer vaction) at I.INC. they make motion graphics commercials. They seem to like my crap. They did that Mervyns commercial with the Saturday Night song by the Bay City Rollers and changed the lyrics to "Saturday Sale". Anyways, i'm pretty excited cause it's a paying internship! Which is like a real job or something and should make my grandma proud. Yeah Hoo, Whoopdy doo!

I have a internship meeting tomorrow with I.INC. at 10am and have to drive over the golden gate bridge to get there. This is scary,I never drove over the golden gate bridge by myself before, oh yeah plus I'm nervous with meeting these I inc people even though they're probably just going to make me fetch them food and coffee all day long, and make me be their slave. I shouldn't be nervous about being a slave I guess, they're the ones who should be nervous cause i'm going to kick them in the head and poop in their copy machine if they give me any shit.
In other news I met a girl and shes real fun,and funny and works on a cruise ship together we pissed my brother off and now I have to buy him new sheets.

i been busy. even though I don't really have any extra time. I joined another band, a german beat band called The Teutonics. I guess I play rhythm guitar since Charlie Karr plays the guitar in the band too and is more better at it than me. So far we learned how to play Crisco Party, and Slow Down. So now i'm in 3 bands. I maybe also be starting a internship with a motion graphics studio this summer. I'm also now in a surf Club called the Stink Bugs. We went surfing for the first time last saturday, and Anton (who I guess is going to be our new room mate after Amelia moves out in July) and I surfed into each other and got some nasty dings in our boards. Ut oh. Oh well luckily we have a guy with super fiberglass skills in the club. Oh yeah, i'm working on the phantom Surfers Web Site now too, i don't know if I said anything about that on here yet. It's pretty neato and i get to look through stacks of their photos taken by Sven Eric Geddess. I should be working on that more but I've been having too much shitty school home work. In other news the Okmoniks are coming into town and want to play at the Fabric house june 2nd, and that's my moms birthday, and Betsy and the Teen Take Over have a big show the next evening in Davis at a college radio station and that wouldn't be a good day to be hung over. and we're having another party with 4 bands may 27nd, anyways. BUT I love them Okmonics! what to do, what to do. I want to just have 2 parties a week apart but my room mates no likey that idea. Which is understandable. Then I thought we could just change the may27th party date to the 2nd of june but the traditional fools will be in LA that day and I really want them to play! So i don't think I'll be changing the may 27th party date. Boo Hoo. so that's my update. see you later live journal.

Well, I'm back from playing the big parkside cinco De Mayo show wif the La Teenos and Special Ed. It was a whole lot of fun. The La TeenOs are now one of my favorite bands, they kicked so much ass. I'm glad we played before them because it'd be super hard to follow them. Special Ed did a pretty good job of it though, but even they said that it was a super tough act to follow. Anyways, we got paid a lot, like twice as much as we expected! So we're going to be making silk screened t-Shirts now. Or at least now i'm going to be buying a silk screening kit at Pearl Art Supply store on Market Street and trying to bumble my way through figuring out how to use all that sacred photo emulsion screening shit. I've tried my hand at silk screening before but chickened away from using the photo emulsion in favor of hand painting the design on the screen. Fuck that shit, this time i'm going to be diving head first into photo emulsion silk screening, and i'm going to like it!

I'm really starting to dislike art that looks like it was obviously done with a computer. Especially any sort of show flyers. It just looks like throw away Cheesy shit! I'm really starting to dislike that shitty illustrator outline style. Especially when they put little randumb illustrator swirly looking curly cue outlines in randumb places along the edges. Fuck that shit! That curly cue shit is super in style too with unoriginal graphic designers, I've been seeing it everywhere. barf.

tonight i drank a bunch of rum and soda and played a pirated version of Battle Field 2 on the internet against a bunch of nurds. I was having fun killing nurds for a good 3 hours when they finally kicked me off and banned me just because my screen name was Capt.Hitler. Oh well. Practice yesterday was fun, we're getting better at this new song we're doing that Dave picked out by the Human Expression, hopefully it'll be ready by the time of our big show May 5th!

Billy Childish is in town and is doing a one man show and reading poetry and doing some acoustic numbers. Oh boy.. Boring! I'm not paying 15 bucks for that. I'd rather watch the best movie in the world Hardbodies again! It's got my hero Rags in it who wears a checkered painters cap!
Nothing against Billy and his mustache, and his Poetry, and acoustic songs: I like that stuff! But, I just like the movie Hardbodies better.

I did art and rode my motorized bicycle 6 miles to community thrift store and found a NES game genie and it came with the booklet with all the cool codes that makes mario act all crazy. I also worked on art for various folks.
I never thought I'd ever draw anything with a Ipod in it. Oh well.
Today, I also finished slapping together the Mothballs tour Poster from the art I did for their Beer Koozies.
I can't wait to get my Mothballs beer Koozie for all my cold drinks. you too should order a mothballs beer Koozie right away from a Mothball near you, so your beer doesn't get warm.

I'm really excited though because I'm working on one of my favorite bands of all time the Phantom Surfers new website with Ben from the Hamboogers/Guy Guys, he's doing all the flash stuff, and i'm doing the art type junk! Yeah, I never thought they'd ever have a web site. Sven gave Ben a bunch of old pictures like from their second practice, some outtakes from the Survival of the Fattest 7Inch, and all the pictures taken during their XXX Party with crazy topless gurls!!! Anyways, this is going to be fuuun!

My band Betsy and The teen takeover played a show at San Francisco State University today outside at the Malcolm X quad for this rally about Abortion rights! yeah weirdsville. we went on at 12:45 lunch time It was our biggest crowd ever!!! Like 300 people!!! Well ok there was only like 25 people infront of the stage watching, and everybody else was just walking past or way off in the distance, so I guess they don't really count oh well. But 25 might still be our biggest crowd EVER!!! Woo Hoo! Man did that P.A suck!!!!!! I'm starting to think it'd be better to bring my own P.A. to shows like the FIne Lines did when I saw them at the parkside. I had to read Mike and Amelia's singing lips like a deaf person to figure out where we were in the songs. Oh well. Inbetween songs I told some off color abortion one liners. after we got done playing this reporter who I think was from the school paper interviewed me and Dave and asked us questions about abortion and asked for a record. haha. I like playing weird places. a lot of friends showed up too which really surprized me.
Looks like our next show is gunna be Cinco De Mayo at thee Parkside with The La Teen-o's, Top Ten, and maybe the Hamboogers Yippee I'm excited!
